Our films this week are biopics about stars. These can be based on memoirs of people who knew them (Film Stars Don’t Die In Liverpool, My Week With Marilyn) or on the star’s personal recollections (I’ll Cry Tomorrow, The Actress). Audiences never seem to get tired of this genre.
